San Joaquin Gardens has active and ever-changing activity programs. All residents are welcome to attend any of the programs on campus. Residents are extremely important in planning activities and influence the programs in many ways ranging from making a suggestion about a trip to planning and executing a program in its entirety. Abby Hamett is the Activity Coordinator for our Health Care Center. Abby and her staff provide the residents with a wide variety of activities. One resident was heard saying, "There is always something happening around here!", when asked about the Activities program. One of the favorite activities is our "Red Hat Society" group, the "Red Hot Hattitude". This group began meeting in June 2004 and is going strong. We get dolled up, have fabulous lunches, tell jokes and stories, and have a great time! .
